In light of the recent updates on Google Maps (misspelling ‘Gulf of Mexico’) and Google Calendar (removing any holidays that the government might interpret as ‘DEI)’, it’s worth making the leap to alternatives.
Here are options to use instead of Google:

Chrome > Brave browser / Mozilla fox
Google (search) > Ecosia / Brave / duck duck go
Gmail > proton mail / tuta
Docs > proton / cryptad / only office
Calendar > timetree / fossify / proton

Data is the new oil, don’t give them your data.

The 1A Social Housing Proposal is an opportunity for Seattle to be truly bold and innovative on behalf of the local public good.

Voting YES on 1A is a direct way to act on alleviating our housing crisis. It isn’t a silver bullet, but we need to take BIG SWINGS.

1B is the “bend the knee” option.
