Sometimes I remember worrying that I was embarrassing when I started sharing my fanart. I fell so hard & so fast for our pirates. Then a pro comic artist I really look up to just out of the blue told me my OFMD stuff was "beautiful work". It was like he knew I needed to hear it right at that moment.

i’m not even home yet, but i wanted to float the idea of a fandom weekend in yosemite sometime next year— probably late spring or perhaps early fall and ideally a 3-day weekend— complete with a fancy cabin rental. if there’s enough interest, i’m down to get serious!
