Boycotting BasicFun and Hasbro for their actions against Prescott Hill, the OG LPS illustrator, after he spoke out against them for stealing designs from creators in the lps community. Spread the word and stop buying Gen 7 lps #littlestpetshop #lps #lpssky

Nothing like waking up early in the morning only to discover an artist whose art was a staple in my childhood is being fucked over by a massive corp for doing the RIGHT thing

Can we ever get a year where massive corps aren't fucking over artists and creatives? Or is that too much to ask for?

I’ve also made a thread about the Boycott a few days ago as well. Not only Basic Fun stole designs and ideas from lps fans but also from G1 MLP fans as well. Ie Basic Fun taking someone’s photos of their celestial/fancy swirl ponies custom without their permission etc.

I hope this is more of a reason to boycott these companies if you aren't already... and as always get your lps and older gen ponies from customizers and or 2nd hand. Ie. Thrift stores, antique malls, online(ebay) or even from a friend.

I mean it's kinda funny how that works huh? It's okay When they take art from artists, but when an artist wants to show off their portfolio of their works within the industry? That's when they have a problem..

So it looks like Hasbro and Basic Fun were pushing Legal action against Prescott (the og illustration for the 2000s lps)...

All because he called them out for the BS they're doing...

Plus there were a few videos I saw on instagram however I don’t have an actual there nor I’m not sure I could screen record them. However in one of the vids I found out it wasn’t the first time Basic Fun stole from fans. Not just with LPS Honey but from people within the G1 MLP community as well.

Also if Basic Fun is having trouble with creating designs or even new models, they could at least had Fans send their designs to them or even the better option hiring them!

Not only that it will brings fan engagement but also showcase artists of all ages

Tbh yeah, That is true but I'm just saying even g2 lps had both blind boxes and regular packaging not to mention that in some places basic fun did have single pack pets due to some countries banning "gambling"

Generation 2 of MLP is more popular today than when it was in production (1997-2003). The body style was ahead of its time 🦄. G2 #mylittlepony toys had a slimmer sleeker build, jeweled eyes, and a serious accessories game.
