I think that’s about the only consistently good thing I’ve heard. I’ve had other friends who swear by screen search/circle to search. Nothing about anything else though.

Yeah, the only way I see the X-series continue at this point is if the X2C is just a smaller H2S for those who want all the features the H2S has but don't need the build volume.

But my guess is they just can it entirely rather than do that.

Would I want one? Sure, I guess. I'm not in a rush to ditch on my P1S, it gets the job done and fairly well.

I guess that's the nice thing about 3D printers, they age like cameras. I know people who still get on with Prusa's old, old printers (like MK2s!) and they're still rock solid.

Oh yeah, the Bambu P2S:

It just looks like a price-dropped X1C with some H2S features brought over. I like that they're standardizing on the H2S/H2D nozzle (as I curse the high prices of the P1S nozzles)

Kinda makes me wonder if the X-series is just going away in favor of the H2S.

When I had the MS run out of energy in the middle of a Guardian fight I just wanted to quit. But I pushed through.

1. Having to cut short an exploration sesh because all my weapons broke really sucks and interrupts the flow of the game for me.
2. It creates a scenario where you’re too afraid to use your weapons. I don’t like this.
3. For all the work you need to do to get the Master Sword, it shouldn’t “break”

Oh boy this is gonna be a hot take:

Breath of the Wild. Yes I said it.

The world just felt empty to me. The narrative just wasn’t doing it for me, it felt like a Souls game where you really had to be there for the gameplay (which I did like for the most part)

Thing I hated most was durability.

Ironically this kinda ties back to one of the few Apple Intelligence things I like: Visual Intelligence. I don’t use it personally but I like the idea of it, letting AI tell you what the camera sees. Microsoft does it too and has for a while (Seeing AI). AI for that kind of stuff I’m on board with.

Oh I don’t even use T-Mobile. I’ve got a free trial line through them active as we speak but past that…

Visible’s my preferred poison here, at least for now. Got in on a good promo rate and will probably consider switching if it ever lapses or Verizon starts suddenly sucking hardcore here.

Okay for reals going to bed now but like

I’m quickly getting my phone out of the red and connected it to my MacBook charger (97W)

Charged it about 50% and the thing barely got warm to the touch.

Yeah, upgrade was worth it on that alone as much as I shouldn’t have.

Technically this TV is kind of a downgrade, the TCL’s HDMI ports were all HDMI 2.x capable whereas only a single port on this Vizio is. Doesn’t matter much because I just stuck the Apple TV on the HDMI 2.0 port and the game consoles on the others.

Only 4K console I have is PS5 and eh whatev.

Time to hit the hay. But before I do, tonight’s project: moving from a circa 2019 50” TCL TV to a 2016 65” Vizio. Still need to fine tune things but the hard part is done and I can pick this up after I wake up. For now, though, it’s time to sit back and watch some video.

Actually wrote a bit about it back in April! Don’t buy these controllers. They suck ass.

(If you have one and are getting on fine with it, great, I wish I had your luck. But I’ve been through three of the blasted things *AND* an Elite S2 and they all had issues.)

I vehemently hate the Xbox Controller.

Lmfao Kotaku, a $15 price drop on a $65 item isn’t “giving it away”. Nor is it “pennies” like the article’s title implies. Good lords.

Also: don’t buy Xbox controllers. They’re garbage with really shitty button contact design on the face buttons. Get an 8BitDo instead. You’ll be much happier.

I really hate that peoples’ response to this has been “got gud, pay your bill on time scrub”

I’ve had autopay screw up countless times, even manual payments not post properly due to system issues on the other end. And every time? Still charged a late fee because “no exceptions”.

Yeah some people are calling bullshit on that report that was going around but all my local targets don’t even have a Series X listing anymore and all the Series S units are low stock.

Compare and contrast to the PS5 and Switch 2 which are both very in stock and plentiful.

So at ewaste today a good friend gave me one of those CarPlay dongles…and it works! I definitely plan on putting this in my car at some point but power routing is going to be tricky. Could also just get a wireless dongle but that’s $$$.
