The Gnostic Gospels show what was edited out (because it didn’t support the organization). If seems there is esoteric knowledge that can be extracted. Exoteric Christianity seems to have turned in on itself as in the Dark Ages.

I will try to find time to read this and respond properly. Being raised in the mystic/ esoteric realm rather than the religious, I am no authority. But it seems with the New Testament Paul and others took four of the gospels (translated from oral tradition). The four pillars of ’the church’.

Faith was so poorly translated it lost meaning. Apparently from the original Aramaic into Greek it meant Understanding (a combination of knowledge and being). JC said “oh ye of little faith” to his disciples when they took him literally, reminding them he spoke in parables (requiring understanding).

Nicely put Mr Pavlovitz. 🙌 I take heart, in general with acerbic terse descriptors here. It helps unify those of us (left:) who aren’t totally morally bereft.

We honestly don’t know what we’re gonna do come May, if this shit show continues and we don’t have Stephen Colbert to help cajole us into existential bemusement.

No other human would dream of bragging about passing one. You get the sense that it very well be the first teat he ever passed and he’s just so darn proud.
