Productivity has gone way up. Information and media is at our fingertips. I can use an app instead of calling. We are living longer. Our TVs are bigger. Our airline tickets are cheaper.

Studies so far have shown it doesn't increase productivity. Those can be dismissed for various reasons but IMO any claims are hugely overblown.
