Did you see this today?

Anti #ICE protesters carried a MASSIVE U.S.
Constitution through the streets of Minneapolis.
Not a flag.
Not a slogan.
The Constitution.
Thousands marched, demanding accountability and asking whether federal enforcement is aligning with the rights written on those pages.

None of this has been okay, nor will it ever be okay.

Survivors need justice & closure. A thorough investigation into the people mentioned in the #TrumpEpsteinFiles must occur swiftly. Appropriate consequences MUST be handed to all perpetrators.

As of his last legal defense fund filing, Lee was in debt 10k to his own committee, had about 100k in legal debts and now owes 138k to the general fund of the city. So he’s in the hole to the tune of a quarter million. Be ethical guys. It’s that’s easy.
The 123-page "Matter of John Lee" report, in multiples, on the excessive gifts/misuse of position ethics case against LA City Council member John Lee, set out for today's City Ethics Commission meeting during which the enforcement issue is being taken up.

Tim Gaspar spoke favorably of a council office's power to use LAMC 41.18 and bragged that Blumenfield wrote it. He compared CD3 with districts in the northeast Valley, how those council offices don't apply 41.18, and so there're more encampments in those areas.

🚨BREAKING: An election-denying former Donald Trump campaign staffer who was subpoenaed by the FBI over his role in the attempt to steal the 2020 election is now taking credit for writing the sweeping voter suppression bill passed by the House Wednesday that could disenfranchise millions.
Election denier involved in fake electors plot wrote much of SAVE America Act, Trump-aligned think tank claims
“I’m here to do everything I can to make this work,” Thomas Lane wrote in a December 2020 email to other organizers of the Trump campaign’s fake electoral plot in Arizona.

In just a few moments, I will vote against the so-called SAVE America Act and I am a strong no. That's because this bill would place unnecessary burdens on millions of women and eligible citizens to register to vote and make their voices heard. It is un-American & undermines our democracy.

Lyon: "We’ve seen a deescalation in the fact that the protests ... have subsided and ICE has been allowed to do their targeted intelligence-driven enforcement operations."

This is false. I talk to MN folks every day who say NOTHING has changed.
