4,000 words on the stage I haven't been able to stop playing for the last six years. Early dev screenshots, talk of tech challenges, five demo tracks embedded so you can hear the song's evolution. All the good stuff.

As a motion-control defender & buyer of Kinect-Only games, I'm loving the Nex success story. If anything, it tells traditional publishers that active, novel, non-traditional games can be big business still.

Good interview w/ its CEO from @dringo.bsky.social

An OVERWHELMINGLY POSITIVE rating on Steam is only a pop-shuv over a gap away.

If you've vibed with Skate Story, please consider leaving a review!

I so miss the era of multiple sports sims, so that Acclaim had one and EA had one and Sega Sports had one and each had their own little distinctive flavor

The furor over this story seems bizarre. What physical game *doesn't* have some kind of day-one patch nowadays? Whether it's to clean up some small QoL issues or include a whole '90s arcade game, the complaints seem outside the reality of living in the year 2025

Good story to wake up to and to remember in the days ahead.
When Rob Reiner was on his all-time epic run at the start of his career, he had an opportunity to read a script that was looking for a production partner, and he lost his mind for it. He decided Castle Rock had to have it, no matter what.

This is how I've experienced the Legacy Collection, too: As this playable memory of What Once Was and What Could Have Been, had F2P nonsense not mucked up the works so bad and made the mobile industry a cesspool of parasitic clones.
That Simogo collection keeps reminding us that mobile games were in a completely different place when we were in college.

Terry Cavanagh’s Super Hexagon just came out. We fell in love with Simogo’s Year Walk and Device Six. Phone games were going places! Then F2P casinos killed that dream dead.

Okay, writer followers. An editor I've worked with at a pretty major pub reached out and is looking for writers who have experience with male infertility. If anyone has a particular story they'd want to share (~500 words), lmk. Good pay. DMs open!

Surprised about NEX Playground? You must not have shopped at Target in the past 6 months. The system had an aggressive, visible display right next to the phones + consoles + TVs. To parents looking for a fun, cheap, active alternative, it's quite appealing.
