The next chapter should be all the garbage men who didn’t get cancelled in the first chapter but my NDA won’t let me tell you more
When a cancelled performer reënters the culture, we expect them to offer us a great work, channelling their newfound clarity into the finest art they’ve ever made. With his new comedy show and début novel, has Louis C.K. met the bar?

Louis C.K.’s Next Chapter
In a new standup special, and a début novel, the comedian navigates murky, post-#MeToo terrain: not quite exiled, not quite welcomed back.

Thanks to everybody who’s out knocking doors and making phone calls in TN-07 today! As I am forced to sit on my nonpartisan hands due to work, it feels great to see so many of you picking up my slack. 💙

Picked up the Madness and English Beat Record Store Day releases at about 6pm tonight (thanks, Vinyl Tap!). Just need to find the Billy Joel live album and I will have successfully navigated yet another RSD without waiting in a single line

#BlackFridayParking at Bellevue One in Nashville. Supposedly the one day a year that the shops would need all this mandated parking, and it's still massively overbuilt.

Also wreaths at Lowe’s are like $7 today
🧵 Lowe's CEO, one of 8 Black Fortune 500 CEOs, stands firm on DEI.

"Championing Diversity Through Action: Ellison’s approach to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is rooted in practical change rather than public statements"

Home Depot, meanwhile, allows ICE agents to raid its parking lots.

A study came out today in the Tennessean that said the income needed to be “comfortable” in Nashville is $111K
We have a “poverty trap” and it’s driving the destruction of social cohesion.

The “poverty line” is’t 35,000, it’s $150,000, and making more than one, and less than the other is worse than being “poor”.

Which is why the rage.

Cannot believe I had to work with this boot licking loser. Don't vote for this guy. Don't let your friends or family vote for him. Show them this groveling for the support of a narcissistic wannabe tyrant and ask them if they'd trust this guy to vote to help his constituents if Trump said otherwise.
#TN7– WKRN: “Do you have any issues with any of Trump’s positions?”

🤖 Matt Van Epps: “No.”

There’s a number going around of TN-07 voters who’ve committed to a certain candidate but have not yet voted. It’s a BIG NUMBER and will also make it a HELLISH day at the polls next Tuesday if all those people try to vote at once. I am BEGGING YOU to get people to go early vote TODAY.
