Finally, I found my hair, and shades, and could attempt to recreate this image @jimblimey.com posted recently that @bloggospow.bsky.social asked if I was getting royalties for.
(Yes I know I'm holding the wrong Sinclair but I was tired and didn't want to go rummaging any further for a rubber key.)

GigerPunk, resplendent in neon lights, a green rubber pompadour, blue mirrorshades, a yellow Sobranie cocktail cigarette, leather jacket with B3ta furtive pin and Tufty Club badge, holding a zx81 in one hand and a Sinclair light gun in the other. There are silvwr Venetian blinds behind him with light bleeding through, a silver CRT with the toastrack Spectrum boot up screen and Milk and Cheese figurines looking angry on top of that. The colours are bright magenta, red, purple, lime green and blue.

It's a 40th birthday today, no not for me, that's already happened. Today marks 40 years since the SEGA MK 3 released in Japan which was retooled into the #MasterSystem in the West so here's a fun little vid of games I grew up with or discovered later!

Operation Cerberus (1985) by Colin Bishop is the only game I know about the Feb '42 Channel Dash. The strategic layer is cosmetic; the game is rather a collection of minigames depending on what you attack with (plane, MTB, destroyer or even Dover guns!)
