Ladies and gentlemen: the felon president of the United States.
Anyone who works for ICE should be cast out of all decent society, for the rest of his life. No one should hire him, rent to him, sell him a house. Nor change his oil, serve him in a café, babysit his kid, fix his plumbing or wiring. Nothing, ever, until he dies.

Pastor Jorge Bautista was telling a Border Patrol agent "we come in peace" when the agent fired toxic powder at him, leaving him struggling to breathe.

“No one should be assaulted for being out there protesting,” he says.

Tourism is marred by economic uncertainty in the US & a decline in Canadian travelers.

The drop in Canadian tourists cost Vegas more than $4 billion, a local ABC news affiliate reported in April, after Trump doubled down on his tariff announcement.

It’s a really good article. I agree with all of it; the only tiny thing I would add is, along with Hegseth's overwrought concerns about overweight people and women in the military, he’s also intolerant of Black men with beards.

This World AIDS Day, we remember the hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers lost to HIV and AIDS, and those living with HIV today. We must remind ourselves and each other that the fight isn’t over until the epidemic is over for everyone.

Reminder that "firing on the shipwrecked" is literally THE example used in the DoD War Manual of "a clearly illegal order"
“Leavitt told reporters at the White House press briefing that Hegseth authorized Adm. Frank Bradley to carry out the second strike, which reportedly killed two people who were hanging onto the burning vessel after an initial strike.” Wow. 12/1/25 thehill.com/homenews/562...

You know who would have disobeyed?
Disobeyed illegal orders: Hugh Thompson Jr. was a United States Army officer who intervened during the My Lai massacre in Vietnam on March 16, 1968, saving Vietnamese civilians by blocking U.S. soldiers from killing them and facilitating their evacuation. He later testified about the atrocities.
