Remembering the singular badass Lance Hahn, who left us on October 21, 2007

Four cards passed out at the memorial for Lance Hahn held on November 18, 2007 at The Mohawk in Austin. Three are pictures of Lance: one as a small child passing a record to someone behind the camera, one of him onstage playing guitar, and one of him standing in a doorway, smiling. The text of the fourth card reads: LANCE HAHN
1967-2007
Lance is remembered by his friends and family for his kindness, his DIY spirit and determination, his razor sharp intellect and wit, and his gentle nature.
Through his music, his activism, and his writing, Lance remains an inspiration to his friends and fans around the world.

It was the perfect weight and in an absolute stroke of genius someone designed it in the style of a bathrobe so there weren’t a million weird ties to fool with. And the belt tie was stitched on in a couple of spots on the back. I should have taken a selfie so attired!
