A short message about the return of Weird in the Wade!

I made this short video to say thank you to all my listeners for your patience over the last couple of months as you've waited for the return of Weird in the Wade! The video includes a reminder that when weird in the wade returns there will for the first time be adverts on the show. Don't worry not loads of adverts just a couple at the start and end of episodes and a couple in one ad break in the middle. I thought long and hard about adding advertising to the show but if I'm going to bring out two episodes a month then I do need some more financial support which advertising can bring.

I popped into Jones Coffee Shop and Gym (the former haunted pound stretcher) for a bagel, and met up with Aggie the ghost and her friend Skelly.
They’re hanging out in plain sight until Halloween I believe.

Not spooky just tasty. This morning I’ve been making pear and strawberry jam. (I add a dash of vanilla and lime too) Breakfast just got a bit sweeter.

Very true. I had friends who lived up at Heptonstall and it’s a very eerie place. I went to lay flowers on Sylvia Plath’s grave one night in pouring rain. Very spooky.

I love Whitby such a great town. I can imagine it’s very busy in the summer. I went there on a biology A-Level field trip as well as other actual holidays.
Biggleswade is less busy, but the fish & chips are not up to Whitby standards.

I've had a busy day working on a future episode, a presentation I'm giving for Halloween and some disability access stuff. But I thought I'd share with you this fantastic design my friend Tess' daughter has made for me. Who'd like some merch with this on? (It comes in green, and purple also.)

Biggleswade is getting its autumn on. Though the chestnut trees at the library are a bit more brown than russet thanks to the hot mostly dry summer.
