I’ve an award winning podcast about all that’s weird and a little off kilter in the town of Biggleswade and Bedfordshire. History with a pinch of the paranormal, folklore & urban legends. I also like cake, cats, beating bosses and disability rights.
Whose up for an episode from Hitchin in the future?
I had a very minor op a cyst from my head. Don't worry it appears my brain is still intact 😂
Claire the surgeon and I spent the whole time talking about ghosts and the spooky history of Hitchin. I'd love to cover a Hitchin story.
Any suggestions?

It was proper cold today, and my plans to meet with a friend and try out driverless buses in Cambridge kind of went wrong. There were no buses! We did have coffee and cake, and I got time to work on my ghost stories for christmas script! I hope you're all keeping warm and cosy today!

I took this photo on Saturday of the Biggleswade Flying Saucer Hoax monument. Today there are a fraction of the leaves left on the trees. Winter is indeed coming. The perfect time for storytelling. Remember there was a new episode of Weird in the Wade out this week.

It's my wedding anniversary so I won't be around on the socials today or tomrrow much. It's also St Martin's Day once a big deal (and still is in parts of Germany and northern Europe.) A day of feasting, slaughering livestock, drinking the new wine and gift giving, marking the start of winter 1/2

I love the history of bonfire night, the plot, the plotters, my favourite King (James I and VI) but not so much the anti-catholic sentiment behind burning an effigy of Guy Fawkes, who was a fascinating guy 😉
However you’re celebrating (or if not at all) have a safe night!

I’m in London today for TfL work and then #Uncanny Fright Night tonight at the Royal Albert Hall!
So I thought I’d share some of the pictures I took in Pegnut Wood on Tuesday. Seeing the soft greens of the trees is a balm on the hustle and bustle of London.
