More news ("news", but I can't remember who I've told about this already): I'm fostering another cat who would hang out near the dumpsters at my workplace and who I've taken in after the first heavy snowfall. Name's Bijou (Жучка, Жужа, Жужуцу Кайсен) and she doesn't get along with my cats at aaaaall

I managed to carve out some time to go to (what's widely considered) one of the worst museums in Russia, but my time there was actually very nice. I went to see the showcase of Ji Minsun's work and it was really lovely. She's a contemporary minhwa artist and her artwork is stunning up close

It's very cute

This made me very emotional. As funny as the situation appears at first glance ("Richard Siken vs. the 911 fandom", objectively funny), it's a shame that a lot of young fans don't appreciate the grace and earnestness with which he explains his meaning and approaches those interactions or do likewise
A tweet by Richard Siken saying: "There are people who fought for your right to exist. And many died for it. We wrote some books to give you history and arm you with skills. I am old and I am safe. By the time you really need me, I'll be dead. Use the work for your fandoms but know where it came from." (This is in the context of his ongoing discussions with fans about fandoms taking his autobiographical work out of context and relating it to things he feels it hs no overlap with)

In fact he seems totally uneducated, uncultured. The poorest persons on Twitter may have access to more beauty & meaning in life than the "most wealthy person in the world."
