🚨 Hundreds, possibly thousands, of GPs are refusing Trans+ adults their healthcare

We always said the Trans+ Healthcare scandal would get worse

"Given the complexity and unique medical considerations involved in hormone therapy [we're no longer authorising your prescription]" - GP
'I used to pay £200 for trans healthcare - now I pay nearly £2,000'
'I just feel like my GP can, at any given time, ruin my life.'

Labour voters need to shut the fuck a
Up about ppl needing to vote labour to keep reform out.

No.

Labour voters need to vote green to keep reform out. And get far better policies into the bargain.

Might just be that Faulkner is desperate to bask in the glory of trans segregation before she has to go. It'll spoil her leaving do if she knows tr*nnies aren't suffering to the maximum possible degree. And might make the new guidance come to be associated w/her successor.
It already has. It's played a key role in promoting transphobia. Something you actively support.

It's been a fast news day. Oral Questions in the House of Lords today about the code of practice and the EHRC's letter.

There was some news revealed. The Minister for Women and Equalities has asked the EHRC for more information about their draft code of practice (15:42:00 below).

Absolutely! The EHRC is really floundering right now, and Bridget Phillipson (so we hear) is getting increasingly annoyed at them.

What better time than now to write (using our easy-peasy tool) and pressure Phillipson to reject the EHRC’s segregationist Code 🤗📝🤗

The EHRC has written to the Minister for Women and Equalities, demanding that she rushes through their dreadful draft Code of Practice.

This is a bizarre intervention from a supposedly impartial public body.

It's so abundantly clear how desperate they are to get this rammed thru w/o the transphobia being at all watered down. It's sickening.
Just joined the Green Party.

Never felt motivated to join a political party before, but in an increasingly fascist UK @zackpolanski.bsky.social is like a breath of fresh air.
Carole Malone, "Youu can't say what women's rights are because you're not a woman"

Zack Polanski, "You're not trans are you. We can all say you're not that thing so you can't have an opinion" 🔥

"You can still have an opinion from listening to people"
"Why do trans people still have human rights? We must remove them immediately"

Please share this far and wide we need to amplify its coverage:
Defeating Labour would be a defeat of a right wing reform clone.
The inalienable right to be diseased & to spread disease.

They'll pry those viruses from my cold dead...tissue.

Trans people have been warning about these people for *years*
This is a huge story but massively under the radar in the UK.

A US Christian legal org called the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) is working to roll back abortion rights here using the same playbook it used in the US: briefing politicians, watching, waiting.

They're not doing things antithetical to their values, these *are* their values.
Labour are very clear about what they stand for in 2025 - transphobia, racism, attacking disabled ppl, support for genocide.
You can imagine they stand for something else if you like, but the facts speak for themselves
With Streeting, Mahmood, Phillipson, Reeves etc etc etc the cruelty is very much a feature.

Open your eyes. labour in 2025 is a far right party. It's not just a tactic. It's an ideology.
Labour's transphobia is a CHOICE. All the polling shows trans ppl are not a priority for voters. If anything it's a net loss of votes by alienating LGBTQI+ ppl.

Ppl have been claiming they're not *really* transphobic since before the election.

= Self deception to soothe their conscience.
They may well be worse.

But if you vote for extreme prejudice, you get extreme prejudice. And labour are a party of extreme prejudice. Anyone voting for them is voting to harm ALL trans ppl & drive some of us to death. Out of ideological choice.

I won't vote for extreme prejudice.
Will you?
Anybody who does not acknowledge that Labour have caused trans ppl more harm in one year than any other govt in UK history is sweeping extreme prejudice under the rug.

Labour are fucking scum. Anyone who's a member of the Labour Party is IMO no better than someone who joined the BNP.
In one yr labour have banned all healthcare for trans youth - quite literally killing some of them. And banned them from updating their health record = forced outing. They're about to introduce segregation for all trans ppl.

SEGREGATION. Of a minority group.

How will reform be worse exactly?

It's here (with a focus on the other letter ofc).

Curiously, also no hate group quote & a govt quote that sounds like it's from a year ago.

We may still be fucked, but I think this letter has genuinely has them rattled - even if they ultimately decide to press on regardless.

Now is the time to take action with our new MP tool. Even if you've already written – it's so important now to keep the pressure up.

Our tool lets you customise and send the letter all in one place. Feel free to add something about the Commissioner's letter!
