The Holga along with Pinhole and some SX70 photos have come closest to how I feel about the Fenlands where I live - steeped in history, social conflict , change and intensive farming , there’s a loneliness and often bleakness to the landscape.

And I had to make a darkroom print.

Been using FirstCall Photographic since the early 90s and they have remained true to their roots despite now being part of a bigger group.
Was very impressed with the Adox C41 kit so bought another to finish off my colour back log and the 120 sleeves for my 6x12 Holga Pan negs

#TravelsWithMyRolleicord will sit alongside #HalfFrameStories and keep me busy in the darkroom …..

“Travels” can be interpreted quite broadly , in this case I travelled over the road to photograph a bench that I’ve been watching slowly decay and get over run with foliage.

Lake District UK.
A bit of light between rain bands.
HP5+. 35mm.
A BnW image of Lake District landscape. A tree trunk on the right and it branches with foliage at the top of the frame. In the foreground are shadows and reeds amongst grass. In the centre frame is a field, with small trees beyond, and then fells in the distance.
