I guess I'll rewatch Legacy instead of seeing Ares in theaters. Not that I was in a rush.
I could be stressed about it. Or I could be glad there's a very small portion of our transit system that has roughly parallel service between North Station and Copley/Back Bay.

Helps that work is very flexible.
Very considerate of my green line train to become disabled at Copley so I could walk to the orange line. I could tell something was wrong by how we *crawled* from Hynes to Copley. Good thing we ran express from Coolidge Corner to St. Mary's. #mbta

Chanel has been trying to buy a new wheelchair van for months. It's a huge deal for someone to basically be confined to their immediate surrounding streets because they don't have adequate transportation. If you can donate, any amount helps. Shares are free, and those help too.
Typically I’d be making plans to see my favorite teams hit the ice this season but wheelchair van sadly died in May.

Fortunately, this amazing community has helped me & I’m hoping that continues!

If you see this please share!

Not me holding onto raw photo files for months only to never edit them. 😮‍💨 Always on the verge of running out of cloud storage. Gotta manually delete because of how Google stores them.
4 loads of laundry done. I have no desire to do anything else 🥲
Missed out on a Libby loan because I couldn't get it downloaded on my kindle. Ended up returning it. Turns out I should have just restarted my kindle. It's fine, I only had to wait months for it to be released...

I hope this doesn't mean I need to replace my circa 2018 kindle. 🤞
Need to figure out how to gently remind folks to use they/them pronouns when they've known me since I used she/her.
Started at work 4 years ago, she/her exclusively, then she/they (order didn't matter) then they/she (wanted more they) to they/them exclusively.

I have pronouns in my email signature.
I was thinking of skipping last night, but I may as well keep doing my program up until Thursday. Surgery is scheduled for the 10th. 🫣
Caitlin was the only name my parents could agree on. And it's the closest to the Irish Caitlín. ☘️ I'm mostly Irish, no surprise.
Curious about autocorrect if it favors Caitlyn over Caitlin. Got a portal message originally addressed to Caitlin, but the reply had Caitlyn. I try not to make a big deal out of it since I know my spelling isn't as common as the "Americanized" ones with a K.
What was the green line train?

HHS posting AI-hallucinated 'research.' Trump yelling "DON'T TAKE TYLENOL." CDC is now anti-vax.

Finding reliable, expert analysis is harder, and more important, than ever. That's why patreon.com/mattbc exists, and why it's funded entirely by readers who believe in it (no supplement grifts)

Finished my 26th book of the year. Right as Libby changed its ebook hold policy - no more deliver later, I have to manually unsuspend holds. 🤷
Thought I put enough water in the egg cooker but ended up with soft boiled eggs instead of hard boiled... That egg cooker is ancient. It's happened before.

Cardinal Timothy Dolan failed to report direct admissions of rape by multiple priests, lobbied against extending the statute of limitations for sex abuse, and moved money off the church books to hide it from victims of sex abuse. In case you were wondering.
Cardinal Timothy Dolan on Fox & Friends on Charlie Kirk: "This guy is a modern day St Paul. He was a missionary, he's an evangelist, he's a hero. He's one I think that knows what Jesus meant when he said 'the truth will set you free.'"
Trying a stress resiliency class. Which means I finally need to start meditating. The facilitator said to not do sustained deep belly breaths - we could get light headed. And suddenly, the reason why I didn't like meditating when I tried it as a kid made sense. I remember getting dizzy, not relaxed.
Taking the train up to Lawrence for work. No stop announcements. Glad I have an app to track where we are because I've never been on this line. Worcester was easy because last stop. #mbta
Where did you end up? I went to triangle in Brookline a couple times.
😑 what a day to leave my headphones at home. Spending the office day printing out training materials.
