You don't think of the Upper Button on your Left Controller as "Y", you think of it as the Left Upper Button

it just looks like some kind of local code execution exploit, so if you don't care about people modding which can already be done with much better means like melonloader then it's nothing.

I'm still trying to figure out if my interpretation is wrong

the "thanks Unity" is just there to clarify that this is Unity, security stuff like this is to be taken seriously.

Side note: if you create content for vrchat, chilloutvr, etc. then there isn't much of anything to worry about, this only effects the game itself, not the Unity Editor or your content.
