Aetherdrift Legends Thread

Big congrats to Pia Nalaar for continuing to get tougher in every single appearance. Also, despite costuming changes and four different artists, she's been pretty consistently portrayed.

We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Rob Wieland's passing. He was a champion of indie games and his mainstream support of indie TTRPGs was unparalleled.

On top of that, just a great human being to know and to work with.

I think that was just the toys (no comic tie in) so it’s possible they were just cosplaying
vorthosjay.bsky.social
You should definitely have that looked at
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Genuinely, given the last few weeks, who would openly admit to wanting this in advance
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Yeah I should be clear I don’t think there was a master plan for five seasons from the start but there is stuff that works backwards well. And the lock telekinetically opening does feel right

Rewatching Stranger Things (wife wants to watch it for the first time). Any fan theories I should keep an eye out for?

For instance:
I definitely think Vecna took Will.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
It’s Ninjutsu as an alternate cost and not an ability, yeah?
vorthosjay.bsky.social
I’m sure there are some rule differences but yes

Apparently they just didn’t preview any cards with the creature reminder text 😅

Did not know this about Old Bay
The origins of the company can be traced back to Wertheim, Germany, where Brunn started a wholesale spice and seasoning business selling to food industries, seeing an opportunity as spices were in especially short supply amidst hyperinflation in the aftermath of World War I. 9] Due to rising antisemitism as the Nazi Party rose to power, the company moved to Frankfurt, Germany; 1°1 however, on the night of November 9, 1938, a massive pogrom against Jews, known as Kristallnacht, led to Brunn being arrested by Nazi soldiers and sent to Buchenwald concentration camp. "
According to Brunn's son, Gustav's wife paid a large sum of money to a lawyer for him to be released; as they had already applied for and received American visas, they were able to escape with their two children to New York City and later Baltimore, Maryland, where Brunn had family.!'! There, having brought with him only a small spice grinder, 8! Brunn founded the Baltimore Spice Company and produced the
"Delicious Brand Shrimp and Crab Seasoning", which was later renamed Old Bay. 12[13]

Oh Keira I’m so sorry

Looks like a crew member is fainting. I’m sure it’s a reference to a specific episode but I’m not sure which

Hey all 👋 my living situation has dramatically changed. I should be fine for a few months, but if you'd like to help me make - significantly increased - rent, then any change would be greatly appreciated.

8. Him. The King of the Monsters. There are both toys of it right now and a comic book coming out soon.

7. While they've never had a proper crossover, there is a Transformers x TMNT collab in the form of the Party Wallop, a Transformer based on the classic turtle van.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
6. Another of the recent TMNT crossovers (obviously). This one had action figures for some reason.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
5. Dracula. They did the Universal Monsters thing really early on, but Dracula himself has appeared in a very Bela Lugosi look.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
4. Street Fighter. Another one that feels like a no-brainer, but while the Turtles have guest starred in Mortal Kombat, they've never been in a SF game. Although they have been in a Street Fighter crossover comic.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
3. Ghostbusters. Surprisingly this is more recent with the IDW comics.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
2. Sonic. I remember reading the Archive comics crossovers as a kid. I'm sure I've got them somewhere.
vorthosjay.bsky.social
Okay SO. Turtles crossovers that Magic has UB of.

1. Star Trek. Obviously this doesn't come out until next year, but this is the one I remember from being a kid.
