Just a few of the literal thousands of Sandhill Cranes flying into roost at the Haenhle reserve in Michigan, west of Ann Arbor. I love their dinosaur sounding calls.

Most people hear “heat pump” and think of small air-source units at home. But Germany is building one of the world’s largest heat pumps in Mannheim: a 162 MW river-source system using heat from the Rhine.

Big reminder that heat-pumps scale far beyond households — they can decarbonise whole cities.

The Repayment Assistance Plan removed many professions from the designation of professional when reviewing lending caps.
Nursing, PA, PT, & audiology are excluded from the updated list. Others not considered professional include architecture, accounting, & mental health.
Still included? Theology.

Trying to help an old guy set up a new printer. Of course it won't connect to the wifi, so I got a long cable. There was still a prob. Then I learned he'd installed the ink tanks but not the print heads. Where are they? That is the question. Should have checked that 1st. But this is too complicated.

Heat pumps are the most efficiency heating technology ever invented.

That's because they harvest, compress and transport pre-existing heat from the air, the ground or the water.

Compared to a gas boiler heat pumps deliver ~4x more heat for each unit of energy inout.
