Yes! Marches and protests are great and may work for a normal government but we’re not dealing with normal anymore. Extremist governments deserve extremist actions. Stick signs won’t save us now.

During this gov shutdown, we need to SHUT IT ALL DOWN WITH A GENERAL STRIKE.

That’s the last resort before the LAST LAST resort.

I don’t believe we can negate our trauma because “it wasn’t as bad as yours”. People handle trauma differently, with different capacities. No one can say yours was any less. Trauma is trauma. Its impact may be same as anyone else’s. Healing, loving vibes here.

I’m glad you took that break. Maybe we need more of them. I’m starting to detach a little more now, too. Not an ostrich, but I need a breath sometimes. It’s overwhelming. Stay informed but stay sane. Take care of yourself because we’re going to need all our strength.
