in my experience the application framework has never been the bottleneck in an application or software, it’s been the software architecture design and the infrastructure. the framework, languages, tools, are just implementation details that nobody cares about and make little difference.

I'm in Japan and while I'm here having fun, I've also noticed that they're implementing a lot facial recognition technology at stations and other places and it's kinda scary how quickly they're just accepting it.
