The silver on the new iron warriors is actually pretty nice and well done, but you can tell that ate up the whole budget. Nothing a wash or three can't fix.

Yep, honestly it gets weirder and weirder the longer I think about it. Like they're directly going for a SM2 game version but stopped at the neck?

Also, I get it, but every time I open a symbiote suit i always find myself looking for the thwip hands for way too long 😂

I found a github with all the old eve online ship models and printed some at 6" or so, but going even smaller is better cuase it's actually easier to paint them, and it makes battleships reasonably sized too. Did the navy issue livery, but I liked it so much I might do another one as a zealot.

The exclusive head looks like it fits better, but yeah, that one is super jarring. I feel like I have a place for both, but that head is making it a way harder choice than it would be otherwise.

How are you liking them? I went with weathertech cuase they felt like they'd handle mud/salt better. These look like they cover a whole lot more though, esp the dead pedal

Please understand that I'm saying this with love, but Venin reminds me of a dollar store knockoff from the 90s. Cheap plastic, garish colors, and a silly weapon. Vibes.

Battlestar posting continues: I figured I'd print a couple ships scaled off the eaglemoss galactica, and uh, I'm kinda seeing why they made everything the same size in the first place. The valkyrie is supposed to be the same size as galactica's flight deck? Cmonnnn

I kinda got seaspray on a whim, but he's really nice. Also, i love it when an altmode has silly head articulation where it probably shouldn't.

I think that's what got me, the mk II is a great redesign without going too far, but the original has aged really well.

Somehow, I managed to search through a dozen models, pick, but and download this one, cut it to fit my print plate, test slice it to check supports, and print it -

before I realized it was the viper from the 1970s series and not the 2000s reboot 🤡🤡🤡

I picked up a replacement spark crystal for the New Sky-Byte, and it arrived today!

Super easy to swap, and it really improves the robot mode.

It’s a really nice kit!

Nonnef productions upgrade kit after the swap. Thats the stock purple chest orb, and the remaining 3 faction symbols. I used the solid white background predacon symbol

Transformers Age Of The Primes Nu Sky-Byte before the spark crystal swap. Note the purple orb in the middle of the chest, its show accurate but less charming then how the origional toy looked.
