Hiya has been putting out kaiju related bangers for a while now, but every once in a while bandai sits up straight and locks in. Though to be honest, 2000 goji feels like a direct response? It's still just shy of absurdly priced, but it doesn't leave you wondering where the money's going.

I saw one battle after another last night, and huh. I have a couple qualms, but just in general that was pretty incredible. A lot of the middle was a little uncanny considering what Chicago's going through.
It was a complete ghost town, I guess it didn't do greet.

Struck out at Ross looking for voyagers, but they got me with the mando diorama set for 15 bucks at checkout.
-I can't believe this was $60 retail?
-Vintage collection 3.75" is very different than joytoy 3.75"
-I may or may not have thought it included more figures than it does.

I was surprised we got the call to come in until I looked outside, this is the real deal. Be careful out there.

The same ram at micro center, now vs about a month ago when I bought it. I knew things were about to get bad when they took ram out of the cpu/mobo bundles, but jesus.
At this point, pretty much every hobby I enjoy has skyrocketed to unaffordability?

Arc raiders is the perfect example of that multiplayer game that becomes the entire zeitgeist overnight, and gets drastically less fun a week later after every aspect has been solved. It's always a blast, but do we really need years of dev time and $$$ budget EVERY time?
Anyway, I printed a leaper.

The silver on the new iron warriors is actually pretty nice and well done, but you can tell that ate up the whole budget. Nothing a wash or three can't fix.

I found a github with all the old eve online ship models and printed some at 6" or so, but going even smaller is better cuase it's actually easier to paint them, and it makes battleships reasonably sized too. Did the navy issue livery, but I liked it so much I might do another one as a zealot.

The exclusive head looks like it fits better, but yeah, that one is super jarring. I feel like I have a place for both, but that head is making it a way harder choice than it would be otherwise.

Please understand that I'm saying this with love, but Venin reminds me of a dollar store knockoff from the 90s. Cheap plastic, garish colors, and a silly weapon. Vibes.

Battlestar posting continues: I figured I'd print a couple ships scaled off the eaglemoss galactica, and uh, I'm kinda seeing why they made everything the same size in the first place. The valkyrie is supposed to be the same size as galactica's flight deck? Cmonnnn

I kinda got seaspray on a whim, but he's really nice. Also, i love it when an altmode has silly head articulation where it probably shouldn't.
