Been keeping the game on my radar since I saw playthroughs of its demo build, and I think the end result is really neat

Other misc things: I like the art direction and I like the backing tracks. The core gameplay and side game mechanics (ie. the radio, the phone) are fun, especially when you have a better understanding of how to identify visitors

The need for a guide isn't too bad because internet access is so broadly available but part of it irks me on an instinctual level. You can of course also brute force the game yourself but I figure that most people don't want to do that just to see most endings

One thing I'm torn on is how difficult it is to know if someone is a visitor without using guides. On one hand I like it, it ties into the themes of the game really nicely. On the other hand I'm a believer in the idea that most of a games content should be navigable without a guide

Nitpicks: the ending cutscenes lagged the shit out of my computer and were really loud for some reason, couldn't figure out how to fix that. Sometimes the cursor got stuck on screen during walking segments when it shouldnt. The walking speed is really really fucking slow

Haven't gotten all the endings (not even fucking close), but I think it's a really good game that has interesting things to say about our world. I have a few small nitpicks about it but I don't think they're severe enough to interfere with the general experience

Also I'd be interesting to see how speedruns for this game would work. I feel like there are many game breaking bugs yet to be discovered bc the game is kind of janky in places. On the glitchless side of things, I'd be interested to see what strategies evolve over time

The game is about a lot of things happening in our current world: discrimination and profiling, social isolation, mistrust of people and media. The fact that in order to play the game most effectively, you have to rely on human-to-human communication, flawed though it may be is really interesting

I think an interesting, and debatably unintentional, part of No I'm Not a Human's gameplay is that I think without community-made guides, some of the game's mechanics would be near fucking impossible to parse
