We all agree that these "dubs" suck.
But once again, that's not the core problem here. The quality will inevitably improve, though I personally doubt to the quality of a dub made by actual humans who care.
The problem is that these exist AT ALL. They're an offense to art, and always will be.

Welp, a second AI dub on Amazon has apparently been found, and it's a show that already had a perfectly normal (albeit non-union) dub: No Game No Life.

Going thru my old art i can say with 100% certainty that i started getting good at art in 2022. And by good i mean acceptable to my current tastes. Looking at anything pre-2022 makes me physically recoil

on one hand, i understand why characters in darkest dungeon have fixed backstories and names. On the other hand, it makes me wonder how those backstories apply in-universe to the ppl who show up to the estate in DD1
