this local ice cream place makes a mango sticky rice vegan ice cream and a biscoff ice cream!!! And there’s another one that makes more traditional Indian flavor ice creams like rose/cardamom, roti & ghee… For a long time I wasn’t excited about food but I think moving here is helping change that

I am sympathetic to the concept that BIG SCARY REAL PROBLEMS are so overwhelming and feel insurmountable, that it's way easier to fight amongst each other over comparably itty bitty things instead. but i think it would be really cool if everyone took a breath and microdosed some perspective.

This can be read as dismissive and very vague, and that's okay. It kinda is. Multiple things can be important at the same time (and to differing degrees per person) but uh. im just not gonna fight about a fictional fantasy age gap amidst the real life horrors. and im not evil or wrong for that.

Theres a time and place for nuanced criticism of media/art. I say this with respect to art history and art as a whole, but forgive me if I don't have the patience to argue about real-world morals being applied to fictional characters that don't exist while the world is in upheaval on so many levels.
