I guess my body needs to make a game again. Tell me, is the Steam Deck good? Frankly, I am more a gamedev than a player. I enjoy creating worlds rather than playing games, but I would love to have a device that I can go to the pub with and brainstorm on.

Let’s continue with Windows, particularly WinUI/Fluent. Shadows are interesting: they appear to rotate in 3D around the X-axis. The top part of the shadow is closer to the window edge than the bottom part.

High contrast themes in macOS Tahoe are quite unfinished, and I hope they will be improved. For example, traffic lights have two inner strokes: one normal 0.5pt stroke (used in all themes) and another HC-only 1pt stroke. See the image ALT descriptions for more details.

I'm considering switching from RetroBlit in Unity to #monogame, but it's quite a complex decision. Unity's deployment to mobile devices and WebGL is so well done, but I'm hesitant to depend on a company that could change its plans anytime. #gamedev
