i don't feel like magic set surveys usually have this question and i don't appreciate the implication that content creators, who do so so much for the game, are possibly to blame for a bad set's poor performance. 👎

EoE story hits that sweet spot of sci-fi stories I like by being both about a large scale galactic conflict with pages of lore and faction worldbuilding, as well as a story about a bunch of down-on-their-luck idiots who find a magic rock, and I think that's beautiful.

Between Tarkir: Dragonstorm and the upcoming Lorwyn Eclipsed, I feel that the decision to not package sets as blocks is doing a disservice to the game overall. Speaking for myself I wish these sets had more time to breathe/explore their worlds. This is tied to UB but not entirely UB's doing.

Been into this card for commander. If your deck cares about 1 drops, lifegain, artifacts or has equipment this thing has very reasonable evasion/protection to supplement. The lifegain is really nice if you can get it out early.

We're going to print outside intellectual properties on Magic cards using reskins and silver borders. Wotc Actually, we'll print the outside properties in black border, but we'll also offer in-universe versions. Wotc Actually, we won't offer in-universe versions, but uB won't be legal in Standard. Wotc Actually, UB will be legal in Standard, but only half of the sets will be uB. Wotc Actually, there'll be four uB sets and three in-universe sets in 2026, but it'll be half and half in 2027.
