lrt - i think damage numbers work great in turn-based games where you can strategize about them. but for action games more often than not i find myself ignoring them just to spam whatever attack seems the best. i think it’s better to just convey the strength of the attack through visual effects.

the quality thing is something that should be talked about more. a DVD or blu-ray can blast data waaaaaaay faster than most internet connections. netflix, youtube, and others compress videos to hell and back which results in blockiness, color banding and unreadable fast scenes
I love the convenience of streaming, but for any movie or show that I really love, I want to own a physical copy. The quality often better, and it is much less likely to disappear suddenly if a license expires or a company merges out of business. And disks often have cool extras.
