I at least appreciate they said 'ever seen' rather than 'ever made', cause whenever anyone says a film is the worst one 'ever made', I do feel compelled to bring up a list.

I'd like to see the Tramlink (South London) team represented one of these years... launched when I first moved to the area (2000), and covers over 28km of track. I don't think they'd do terribly well, but I'd still like to see them there! 😂

Yep, I’m a big fan of the European championships and did a watch along stream over on Twitch for the World championships, interspersed with some train-ing sessions on Densha De Go. Was a grand time and an amazingly fun competition. ☺️

The Night Trap attempt will be on my Steam/PC copy, but I have been practicing on my Switch and am fairly confident I can repeat my success. And if I do, we’ll celebrate by watching Night Trap: The Movie. The timing required on a perfect run is such that the story cannot be followed. 😂

I only just found about it! It was truly lovely to get a shoutout. There’s still some stuff to do with the reboot that we haven’t discussed because whilst we weren’t asked to sign NDAs (which is f’n catshit in the modern world), we wouldn’t want to get anyone who talked to us into trouble.

I saw some people make similar complaints about Cary Elwes ‘As you wish’ (Princess Bride memories) when it came out. Like they wanted there to be stories of people being miserable and angry on the set of such a beloved movie. Not seen the Candy doc yet, but dammit I need a *nice* documentary!

For anyone lamenting how some goon was able to get a publishing deal - put together your own book! Create a solid concept, do some planning, create a design, and pitch it! Most publishers don't have open pitch seasons. They want to see someone that can see a full project to completion.

What an apt time to have a flashback to the OG timeline, where we looked at early 1990s VR which was utter cack.
Relatedly, this month we’re looking at three different portrayal of VR (Maximum Surge: The Movie, VR Troopers - Nightmares, and X-Files - First Person Shooter) also all cack.

I made the voyage from Tewkesbury to Leicester and was rewarded with the opportunity to play Dactyl Nightmare on a Virtuality VR machine, (as seen as Catch The Flag on GamesMaster s2e10) It is… rough. @underconsolepod.bsky.social described that challenge as “1m10s of nothing happening”.
