Jianyu Yu, a PhD candidate in the Molecular Medicine Graduate Program received a travel award for the 4th Metabolic Dysregulation and Cancer Risk Consortium Meeting in Memphis, delivering a presentation on his abstract, "FABP4-expressing CD14intCD16+ Monocytes Mark Aggressive Human Breast Cancer."

The Blood Bank, located in DeGowin Blood Center, processes and stores blood products for University of Iowa Health Care and associated locations. These products are used for various medical needs, such as transfusions, self-donations for future procedures, apheresis, and much more. #PathSky
