I love the guy to bits, but Alexis Macallister is a complete passenger out there, and I'm baffled as to why our manager is leaving him on there when there's a Wirtz shaped player on the bench who's in much better form.

With THAT interview battle lines are drawn and sides have been chosen. Either Mo proved that Slot is clearly awful and has to go or Salah completely broke trust and has to go.
Both things seem true to me. I don't trust Slot to fix things, but what Salah did was out of order and petulant.

Dominik Szoboszlai might have just saved Slot's job, just like Fede saved it last week. Whatever points we pick up these days feels like its in spite of the manager as opposed to because of it. He dropped Salah finally, he needs to do the same now to Konate and Gakpo.

My opinion of Kerkez is well known, but to be absolutely fair to him, playibg behind Cody Gakpo at the moment is no easy brief.
