I'm not too familiar with Redwall, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was an influence on some composers. I'd go further back and draw inspiration from Beatrix Potter and the like myself. (I do remember reading Peter Rabbit as a kid.)

Christopher Columbus stinks, of course, but to be nitpicky "discovering" isn't the same as "inventing" or even necessarily "finding it first"
There are still plenty of other reasons to dislike Columbus, though...

David Lynch is another creator whose influence is so pervasive I feel like I know all the tropes already. Haven't seen any of his stuff, not sure I want to.
Twin Peaks popularized that "ordinary town with a dark secret" trope that I quickly got burnt out on when everybody was doing it in the 2010s.

I haven't read any Lovecraft, but his tropes are so pervasive and popular I feel I already know what they're like.
With that in mind, I can't help but wonder if one day he visited both a natural history museum with fossilized animals and an aquarium and was really freaked out by it.

You can't tell me that Thunderbirds didn't influence The Incredibles in some way

I would've given him a redemption arc where he slowly realizes the error of his ways, but that's just me I guess.

I was all hyped to watch a longplay of Pumpkin Jack, but I was disappointed to learn that the character is a villain protagonist who wins in the end and helps conquer/destroy the world.
Not keen on that sort of amorality.

Not at all sure what a point-and-click game is doing on the Playstation instead of Windows/Mac where they usually go, but who's complaining?
Also- I haven't seen it yet, but apparently the cartoon of the same name is very different.

Another fun toony point-and-click game called Blazing Dragons, starring Terry Jones, Cheech Marin, and a slew of well-known cartoon voice actors

There was an odd lack of crickets on our block last summer. Usually we hear them all night, and there's always one that seems to live somewhere in our front porch that's particularly loud, but this year it was silent.
There were crickets a couple blocks over to the north, though.
