Siamese! ❤️

We had an elderly white Siamese (no colour in the points) but she passed in January. So now we have a black and white scotch fold/Siamese cross and a gorgeous rescue moggy with the orangest eyes I've ever seen.

I'll test ride the 750 at the time and see.

Friends of Dalma in Romania ride. When we were there, I rode her Transalp 600. Just a little ride around the mountains near Cluj. Not only was the environment spectacular, the bike was brilliant. Made me think "ooh, I may get one of these one day. 😍

I was looking at an old Transalp...a 650 or 700...as the bike for our European trips in a year. I don't know much about the new ones. Or maybe I'll go with a Himalayan 450. Or a 411 again. Year away, plenty of time.to dream.

Because you've had the ride experience, which is what motorcycles are *very* efficient at. They add what the rest of life takes away...time that actually feels lived. So of course you feel energised. It's what life is supposed to be. IMO anyways. :)

That’s a great point — sometimes efficiency really does make life better. What I love is how bikes cover both ends: they can save money and waste time beautifully. That inefficiency has value. 😀

I'm the same. We sold Dalma's car earlier in the year, because I hardly ever drive the thing if I can avoid it. I accept that Billie isn't as "efficient" as the car...I'm out in the elements etc etc...for the experience of riding. These days the car is boring af. 😀

Went out for a ride on Dalma's bike Shanti today. Hadn't been ridden in maybe 4 months. Still started first go and rode like a champ. And Billie has been growing more techy tech and it's nice to ride a bike that's simple again. #motorcycle #motosky

Look, they're great, if slow, bikes. They're comfortable and simple.They work for me. They don't work for everyone. Billie will hold 110 or even a bit above all day. You should try and ride one if you're interested. :)
