Interesting. I did a little work in sensory tourism when I was an academic. This ties in nicely. We experience the world through our senses, humans mostly through eyes. But riding a bike is complete sensory overload. So smell would be part of that.

Riding temporarily rewires my ability to smell things.
It's weird how an entire sense just disappears behind a mess of HEPA filters and recirculated, temperature controlled, dehumidified air and you don't even realize it's gone until you get out of the car

Weirdly, in the week after I released a video about too much gear, I'm with Dalma in a shop buying new gear because she's lost weight and none of her gear fits her any more. And shopping for women's gear is an experience in itself. #motorcycle #motosky

In this video I empty the wardrobe, roast my dumbest purchases, and work out how many tanks of fuel I blew on jackets I never wear.
