I expected YouTube to gaslight all of the creators out there and I'm *still* disappointed.
YouTube has responded to the drop in views many creators are seeing on desktop viewership, saying it's likely not Restricted Mode.
Instead, they suggest a variety of other things, including Ad Blockers impacting view count accuracy.
