Also, MLS Cup is the on big FOX on linear TV on the US ... the day after the World Cup draw.

I'd imagine we'lll be seeing a heavy amount of cross promotion there for the game.
MLS Cup is set for Saturday afternoon (ET) but will be Saturday primetime in Europe.

The only competing games on from the Big 5 would be Athletic Bilbao v Atletico Madrid, Hellas Verona v Atalanta and PSG vs Rennes.

Busi & Alba's (maybe Suarez?) final game.

Muller vs Messi.

This Vancouver - Miami MLS Cup is gonna be awesome, imo.

Miami favorites, but this Whitecaps team is special.

I'll be interested to see the full marketing blitz from the league as well. Has every chance to be the most watched MLS Cup of all time.

Please tell me they're going to make Messi and the team to lift an Eastern Conference winner trophy, lol

My goodness Jordi Alba. What a run and pass.

Tale of two shots.

Fernandez is wide open from 15 yards out and scuffs his shot slightly, allowing Novo to make a (still very good) save. Would've made it 2-2.

Silvetti gets a great pass from Messi a few minutes later and absolutely tags it, leaving Freese with no chance. 3-1 Miami.

Still starting Weigandt in the back to make it more fair though.

(Should bring on Fray at half, imo)
My position on the chase for MLS Cup is that it’s been a one-team race since Ustari finally got benched.

Wake up babe, Tyler Adams goal from 50 yards out.

2025 Leaders in Accurate Crosses Per Match

1) SJ Earthquakes
2) Philly Union
3) Vancouver Whitecaps
4) Houston Dynamo
5) Seattle Sounders

An Espinoza-Benteke combo would be wild.
A Concacaf Champions Cup club should 1000% come in and offer Benteke a max TAM deal.
As expected, D.C. United declines Christian Benteke’s contract option, making him a free agent, but “we remain in discussions regarding a potential return.”

DCU also declines options on Kristian Fletcher, Randall Leal, Derek Dodson and Rida Zouhir but in talks with Fletcher.

Im pretty sure an Inter Miami - Vancouver final would break the MLS Cup viewership record (3.5M in 2016).

Obvious is Messi. But also Muller & Canadian audience.

In 2026, the Canadian TV audience on TSN (1.43m) was actually more than FOX (1.41m).

The NWSL has finally gotten its million-viewer match. Saturday’s championship game garnered 1.184 million viewers, the most watched game in league history

The Dreyer goal was also the first shot on target all night for San Diego.

Kinda wild that Pellegrino and Baird have kept Chucky Lozano on the bench ... but I think it may be time to bring Chucky on for Baird

And this game is going Minnesota's way so far.
Completed passes in the first half:

San Diego: 358
Minnesota: 68

One of the best saves I've ever seen, of an incredible midfield attempt.

Excited for tonight's playoff game between San Diego and Minnesota to officially decide whether soccer should be 100% buildup play or 100% set pieces

Im biased here, but Gotham FC is a team that plays in New Jersey, ownership chair is the First Lady of New Jersey, with a fan base majority in New Jersey ... but then does their championship celebration in New York City? Where they cant do a full parade anyways?
stage is set for Gotham FC at New York City Hall, procession starts at the top the hour

procession will only be a few blocks long — team spokesperson said NYC can’t put on a full ticker tape parade week of Thanksgiving

You know. This voting really makes you think.
Bradley Carnell wins coach of the year. Sorensen won media vote (barely) but Carnell dominated among players and clubs.

Patiently waiting for someone to post the Blake save video, because that needs to be hung in the Louvre.

One of the best saves I've ever seen.
November 24, 2025 at 2:22 AM
Holy moly, Andre Blake!

Cincinnati was the #18 ranked attack in xG and #28 (!) ranked defense in xG allowed, this season.

They haven't been great all year & overperformed their underlying all year.

Compare that to Vancouver (#2 attack, #3 defense) or LAFC (#3 attack, #1 defense).

By MLS Playoff law, following up a blowout means this Philly v NYC game must be a banger.
November 24, 2025 at 12:49 AM
Messi is at 112 goal contributions for Miami in all competitions.

I think the record for MLS career is Landon at 298.

If he keeps at this same pace as this year, Messi would catch it in 2029. Which won't happen ... right? Right?
This is maybe a preview of Inter Miami in 2036, he can do this forever
This is maybe a preview of next season's Inter Miami, with younger players and more running and movement around Messi.
November 24, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Yeah. I dont see Philly or NYC stopping Miami.
