Hi new friends. I write memoir and essays, I'm obsessive with research and live for good sex writing.
Here's the essay I'm most proud of from @thesunmagazine.bsky.social

I learned a woman could wield the power to turn heads. She could capture a room’s attention and make everyone laugh. Everything else I knew of women’s lives told me not to trust this kind of power, bu...

Love seeing these in every small town and big city. I"m heading out to the Santa Barbara rally shortly. Stay safe my darlings.
1/ The number of protests planned for tomorrow is enormous. Given what Trump has done to the economy, and everyone's collective ability to pay for household expenses/retirement I'd expect them to be huge. Find out more at handsoff2025.com

I had the absolute delight of speaking to Lisa's @meloncon.bsky.social grad students yesterday, who came prepared to dig into the possibilities for queer rhetorics, archives, and ways forward in this AI world. Its so cool to see how the Clemson RCID program has grown.

Virginia Wolfe said in order to become serious authors, women would need to kill the Angel in the house. The angel that cares for everyone's needs and feeling before her own. This essay makes me think we have a long long way to go.

I keep seeing this. Guys, their literal job is to figure out what to do. They are not helpless even if they are not the majority. I really hope we can stop treating some of the most powerful people in the world as helpless and without sentience.

This is a delightful trip down queer memory lane for a lot of us: @autostraddle.bsky.social gives a history of the classic lesbian smut mag "On Our Backs," which introduced a generation of queers to BDSM.

I saw Baby Girl!! Here's my unpopular opinion. The casting makes the story implausible.
Nicole Kidman breathes sex. Implausible that she went 30 years w/o an O.
Harris Dickinson has sweet Baby Girl energy. And also like he sleeps on a mattress on the floor with navy blue sheets. #BabyGirl

This week, he cut off access to reproductiverights.gov.
