When I was about 12 I wondered if Ace Frehley chose the band name Frehley's Comet so that his audience would know how to pronounce Frehley. This was at a time when there was a change in consensus as to how you pronounce Halley, so I was concerned that Ace had failed in this endeavour.

Can't believe D'Angelo's died. Voodoo is such a nice album, just one sublime vibe, and that lovely voice soaring and undulating and delivering lyrics in controlled snippets.

This might be a well known fact, but my friend just told me that the last bomb to fall on Liverpool destroyed the house at 102 Upper Stanhope Street, which had previously been the residence of Alois Hitler Jr., Adolf Hitler’s half-brother.
