BREAKING: Four drive belts were discovered “missing” from the motors on a MARTA escalator that malfunctioned and left 21 people inside the Vine City station with injuries, according to a report from the state agency that oversees escalator and elevator safety.

in case you missed it: I’m moving to California but will be continuing the newsletter remotely!! I love Atlanta too much to abandon this project and I’m moving for personal/financial/family reasons

(but also after 10 years a break from Atlanta will be kinda nice)
