Or his religion, I expect.
"The power of one man in a white T-shirt coming between a terrorist and his victims is being shown around the world as an example of how Australia...conducts itself in the face of terror."

Yet Jillian Segal failed to mention this man's courage.
Or his name.

This is who we are. A man in a white T-shirt. Not a terrorist with a gun.

There are now more guns in the community per capita than in the aftermath of the Port Arthur massacre, with at least 2,000 new firearms lawfully entering the community every week

Netanyahu, Sussan Ley, & others choosing to attempt to score political advantage from the horrific events at Bondi, do a great disservice to all striving for greater peace & understanding in society.

The media would do us all a great favour by platforming the helpful & heroic, incl. Ahmed el-Ahmed.

‘Increasing failure’: First Nations deaths in custody at record levels
More than three decades after the royal commission, calls are growing for the government to finally implement its recommendations, to stop the rising number of preventable deaths.

Fear rules on gambling in Albanese government
Andrew Wilkie has asked the PM to allow a free vote on banning gambling advertising and it appears many Labor MPs would support it.

The bottom 90% lost a collective $79 trillion in wages over the past 50 years.

Why? Because the top 1% ate up an increasingly larger share of the national income — so that $79 trillion flowed to them instead of the working class.

The greatest trick of all is trickle-down economics.

What do these corporations have in common?

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

Remember: The oligarchs who control our economy and democracy seek to divide us so they can become more powerful.

They want us to turn on each other so we don't look up and see where all the wealth and power have gone.

Don't fall for it.

Billie Eilish asked an important question: "If you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?"

There are FIVE ways to accumulate a billion dollars:

1) Profiting from a monopoly
2) Insider-trading
3) Political payoffs
4) Fraud
5) Inheritance

Billionaires are the result of a failed system.
