A bit late but I want to share my girlies

And that's not to shit on Acer's high-end range. Many of them are fantastic gaming laptops. But their build quality went off a cliff for the more affordable range a while back and has only gotten more... Tesla-y... since.

Atom was okay years ago. The Celeron aged like milk -- almost literally. Those chips end up in a lot of bargain-tier lappies from companies like Acer. Are some of those actually easy to maintain from a techie's perspective? Sure, but avoid at all costs if you don't love taking your own laptop apart.
