To be clear, this is just as bad as the Amazon AI dub thing. Not as much to meme about, but definitely just as bad. Remember when YouTube switched over to AI closed captions, removed the options for creators to provide their own, and then they all got immediately worse forever? This is like that.
After publishing this article, I've heard from many that CR seems to be using AI to produce dub CCs. Now, thanks to a slip-up CR had with episode 6 dub of The Banished Court Magician, we can say that with 100% certainty: Crunchyroll is using the AI service Ollang.com for its dub closed captions!

With my femur injury, I'm able to walk a lot more and I'm super happy with my progress and my friends for helping me along the way.
I'm able to work on YouTube videos, but I'm still out of a job till Jan. So any help with medical bills and rent would mean a lot!

Streaming is hard when you're disabled. I'll be trying some adaptations to help me maybe get back into it!
-finding games I can play while sitting/laying on my futon
-moving my stream deck within reach
-switch to wireless headset
In addition to my regular breaks with seal vids I think it'll work!

Let me give some insight on this, as a producer in the dub industry who worked with major streamers, who's witnessed first-hand where this push for AI is coming from.
tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.
