If Thune was actually upset about being conned by Trump-Witkoff-Kushner he could bring up the Senate Russian sanctions bill he tabled, the one with 85 cosponsors.
The end of Trump's Oil Sanctions Con, The One that Took Official Washington Media, Lock, Stock and Barrel. The whole idea that Trump's sanctions on Russian oil were meant to hurt Putin is collapsing on all fronts. Indian and Chinese purchases are up and there are no secondary sanctions to be found.
