Feel like I'm losing my mind. Decided today, of all days, to seriously re-organize my bedroom/office. Why do I have so much stuff? Where even did all this STUFF come from?! I've officially reached that point in the process where if this were a road trip, I'd be turning around and going back home. 😅

Twenty vignettes and short stories. This collection invites you to marvel at the macabre and maleficent and embrace the weird and wonderful. Odd creatures and even odder humans abound.

Dispelling Fantasies made the BSFA longlist!!! I'm honored. Academics don't publish books to make lots of money, so being recognized by my fellow SFF lovers and having people tell me the book has been useful to them is the thing that keeps me going in my research!

This is so helpful!

Every Saturday, the Big Beautiful Boycott website shows 10 new companies, the reasons why to boycott, and sources if you want to dive deeper.

The more we boycott, the hotter it gets for billionaires and corrupt political players.

Society does NOT need to fix us so that women more conveniently serve the sexual needs of men. How about --gee, I dunno--teaching them to perceive and treat women as actual human beings? Maybe they'd get some then.
I am not in any way disagreeing with you Rabbi. However with the huge number of sexless young men 18-30 is creating a social hazard.

We need to get gender relationships fixed or we'll suffer from a lot of troubles later on.

Anyone remember --off the top of your head-- the title of that Herman Melville story where the protagonist just stands around in the office and says "I'd prefer not to" to every instruction or request... which included ever even leaving the spot i the office where he was standing...?
