It is no secret that I miss being in the classroom. But last night I got to give a workshop - the first one I've done since my new book came out. I spent time with students tossing beach balls (!) and hopefully demystifying this whole "Bayesian" thing. Can't wait to do it again!

Seeing a book in print always brings conflicting feelings - joy, relief, and a looming "what's next?".

But today, I will focus on joy, for it is a beautiful book! It is the book I wanted to read a decade ago...but it feels pretty good to be the one who got around to writing it.

One of my best papers is in this journal, so I feel a strong loyalty to it. Looking forward to this work for sure :)
