Interleaving stimuli usually leads to better memory than blocked presentations. A new study in CABN by Little, Fealy, Kobayashi, & Roth shows that the interleaving effect is significantly reduced when people can take notes and eliminated when people can use those notes on a test. buff.ly/w06lo7x
