i mean c’mon. the president’s best friend was the most notorious pedo in the country’s history who ran a massive child trafficking ring. every bit of circumstantial evidence we have says that trump was a participant. if this were a criminal trial we’d have enough evidence to compel a plea deal.

This should be center stage for Europeans: in the best case scenario (what comes after Trump is not more Trumpism but a restoration of the Rechtsstaat) the US will be all but useless for us for several years. That is under the best case scenario. Worse case: US reinvents fascism for the 21st century
And that then opens the question of how much damage needs to be fixed after Trump is gone. My own "America as non-functional actor in geopolitics take" hinges on the assumption that the huge effort to contain MAGA and repair its damage will paralyse US power projection for several years

This is pretty much true for any modern right/conservative agenda, everywhere. It literally "anti-conserves" humanity in the broadest sense.
If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have Medicare for All, a Green New Deal, gun reform, universal child care, and a living wage.

De reden dat Annick De Ridder bespaart op sportevenementen en -instituten voor een breed en inclusief publiek, maar het budget verhoogt voor topsport, is dezelfde als om die compleet inefficiënte en dure fietsersbrug over de Schelde te bouwen: ego en prestige zijn belangrijker dan de samenleving.
