Celebrimbor and the Rings of Power

The masterwork he coveted, the maker he desired—held at last where neither can slip from him again. The stone Celebrimbor never warms beneath his hand; his skin has grown too cold.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Did you know: in J.R.R. #Tolkien's Númenor, the people conducted annually Three Prayers - ceremonies in praise of Eru. The last of these was "Eruhantalë" - or "Thanksgiving to Eru" - and took place at the end of Autumn.

Kinda like how Sauron made orcs.
I have no artistic skill but could probably replicate this piece pretty well if I felt so inclined - but the art isn’t creating a facsimile but in having that inspiration and expressing a novel idea. AI can only take what already exists and twist it

Do you remember this moment from the Lord of the Rings when Gandalf "risks a little real light" and the Fellowship suddenly becomes aware of the vastness and forgotten beauty of Khazad-dûm?
I really enjoyed depicting the vast hall in the background. I think the white-on-black works well for it.
