i fucking wish other art programs were as easy as clip studio in terms of what they provided and what they can do.

all the other professional animation suites are like $500+ USD, dream on. tools like tvpaint, toonboom, etc. are egregiously inaccessible.

yanno when it comes to csp... just read the online manual.

it's so easy to do and has very simple instructions -- it also has pictures so you can follow along.

i learned how to use csp by using the fucking manual

it's a broadly a non-complex system -- stop refusing to just read.

Frankly it feels like Game Freak has contempt for people who liked Mega Evolution in Gen 6, because every subsequent game that has utilized it in some way has emphasized it as a negative thing, both through lore and concept design. That isn’t necessary.

I was worried about the direction of the franchise starting from gen 8. It seemed rushed and like the studio was pushing back against any creative input or criticism. Gen 9 solidified that for me and I didn’t finish the game, it felt like a knock-off.

There is no reason this game couldn't look better and have cooler designs -- point blank. The designs are unappealing and not in a fun way, they actively make me not want to engage with the product.
